Murals in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico
This mural has to have some kind of
story. If my Spanish was better, I probably would have asked for
more information. There's so much detail and it is simply huge!
Fortunately for me, it was on Avenido 30 about three blocks from where I lived. So, I passed it frequently. It was interesting to photograph both day and night.
Now, one little fact that I found so interesting had to do with my landlord. He'd lived in Playa for four years. This mural was a mere three blocks from his home. He'd never seen it before. I guess I will never see the world through the eyes of a non-artist. I couldn't miss it, and my friend had never even seen it.
At least, he saw my mural and helped participate. The project never would have been as successful without the help of Team Carlos.
