It doesn't matter where you go in
Mexico. You are never far from some photo or painting of Freda
Kahlo. She has the face, art, and eyebrows that inspired a nation
-- and continue to do so.
This particular mural was outside of a school. It was my Plan B. If I did not get accepted to paint a wall at DIF, this school was my back-up plan. I figured if they enjoyed this style of art, and so much color, there was simply no way they could pass up on me.
Alas, they never got the opportunity.
