A Very Special Thanks to the People who made this Experience possible in the Holy Land

The Wonderful People at the US Embassy -- It was not an officially sponsored project by the embassy, but Molly and friends worked their connections to make this mural possible.

Fareed Muhameed  -- a Molly connection worked his own list of people to locate a school in the Negev Desert for me.  He also rescued me when it was impossible to find the correct bus stop in Be'er Sheva.

Principal and Staff at The Deganai School  -- I was so very welcomed by one and all.   Some spoke perfect English, some not at all.  Regardless of their level of communication, I was so grateful to work among them.

A Delightfully Chaotic Mob of Students --  who were so thrilled to apply paint, spill it, wear it, knock containers over with feet and footballs, and get it on their clothes.  It was an experience not to be forgotten by them.

Avital --  principal of The Degania School, and her gracious family welcomed me into their home

Reuben  -- who took me to the hardware store on multiple occasions to get the supplies we needed.

Grade 5 Students  -- who took a special interest to include a stray American artist in the lunch plans.  It was service with a smile and they cleaned up after themselves.
