Where in the World is Namibia?

Namibia is located in southern Africa. To get to there, most people fly into the capital Windhoek. In my experience, usually you first have to fly into South Africa and then make a connecting flight. So, each time I have gone to Namibia, I have visited Johannesburg or Capetown, South Africa.

My mural was painted just outside of Windhoek in a township called Katutura. I have traveled to other locations in Namibia. You can see them on my travels website.

Cape Cross, just north of Swakopmund, is the home of 200,000 cape fur seals. They are so beautiful to see. But, they are not so beautiful to smell.

The main jobs in Namibia are herding, agriculture, mining and tourism.
