What's
in all these jars at the market? That's a mystery. The people of
Moldova pickle about anything that grows. It's not just
pickles and peppers. Anything is fair game to pickle including
cauliflower, apples, and watermelon. A tour of a farmer's pantry
would be an interesting - and tasty - discovery.
Alas, I never made it to any farms. But, I located my share of Moldovan good food. And, there was so much to be found and here a few of my favorites.
