Where in the World is Mexico?

Many people fly into Mexico.  I'm guessing the main destinations is Mexico City.  I've never done that.  And, many people take cruises to Alcapulco and Cabo San Lucas.  I've not done that either.  Prior to my murals, the only way I'd ever entered Mexico was on foot across the border into Matamoros and Tijuana.

For my first and second murals, I flew to San Antonio, Texas.  (Yes, that included a stop at the Alamo.)  Then, my group of Gringo painters took to the road and drove to Piedras Negras.  I'm surprised I didn't see any cowboys, because it was certainly looked like a place where they belonged.

My third mural was near CancĂșn.  I skipped most of its attractions and headed to Playa del Carmen, also a tourist trap.  It may come as no surprise that I avoided most of the tourist destinations there to paint a mural with the local community at DIF.

The location for murals four and five was in CancĂșn.  Both murals were made in exchange for dental work.  Kinda of a neat trade for services.
