Where in the World is Fiji?
When you go to Fiji, chances are that
you are going to fly. There are boats that bring in groceries,
perhaps literally slow boats from China. Almost everything except
coconuts is imported.
But, if you fly, you'll land in Nadi. And, most likely you'll not pronounce it correctly. There's an extra "n" when you pronounce it as "Nandi". I'm not sure where it comes from. The connection flight to Suva, the capital, is about twenty minutes. However, buses are not that difficult if you choose to see the island up closely.
